A visit to Budapest, Hungary clearly showcases its history in the buildings and museums that make up the city today. The hilly Buda side of the city originally housed the royalty and aristocrats. Buildings here often reflect this time in history when the city was ruled by Hungarian royalty.

Memento Park, in stark contrast,  holds the statues erected during the communist period, which were collected from various sites in the city. This park stands as a reminder of hard times and how much the citizens of this beautiful city enjoy their freedoms.

Today’s post is presented in photos. Enjoy!
